Living in Portugal was founded by CEO Rui Terroso with the aim of showing the best that Portugal and Spain have to offer. The following tours were created: Porto City Tour and the Dinner Tour with Fado Show.
2000s
2006
The first Tourist Service in Portugal was set up on Rua Mouzinho da Silveira in Porto. The following tours were created: Tour Douro, Tour Minho, Tour de Santiago de Compostela and Tour de Fátima.
2007
Living In Portugal changed its name to Living Tours. At this point, with the growing number of tourists, Living Tours began to represent the international Gray Line brand.
2010s
2011
Creation of the first Tourist Service in Lisbon. There are now 2 Private Tourist Offices in Portugal, with all the destination's tourist offer.
2012
Creation of the Incoming and Events/DMC departments in Porto and Lisbon.
2013
We have started to attend the main international tourism fairs.
2014
Internalization of the Living Tours brand, with the opening of Living Tours Spain S.L. for the Spanish market. Opening of the Living DMC department in Barcelona.
2015
Launch of the Livingtours.com E-commerce platform, offering Tours, Activities and Experiences for destinations in Portugal and Spain. Becoming a leading TTA Technology Travel Agency in the Iberian region.
2016
Opening of own and outsourced transfer operations throughout the Iberian Peninsula.
2017
Inauguration of the Living Plex, a 7500m2 complex with new backoffice and terminal offices for the tours and transfers operation in Porto.
2019
Creation of the regular Porto Walking Tours and the Port Wine Sunset Rooftop Tours.
2020s

Covid pandemic 19.
2021
Resumption after the Covid 19 pandemic.
2022
Launch of the 100% electric Living Tuk Tuk, Porto. Obtaining the sustainability certificate - Biosphere Sustainable Certified Awarded the Best Online Travel Agency in Portugal, by Lux Magazine UK.
2023
Creation of Living Private Tours, an operation with private and premium luxury services. Founding of Living Cruise with its own Party Boat operation and cruises throughout the Iberian Peninsula. Best Small Group Tour Experiences Provider 2023 Iberian Peninsula award by Corporate Vision.
2024
Living Events is founded, focusing on corporate events and MICE. The Living Tours Group Platform is born, bringing together all the company's business sectors. Launch of the 1st Living Culture Book, celebrating 20 years of Living Tours.
